I was approached by leading public relations, corporate communications and event management agency Communications Collective to work in-house on a three month contract. The agency’s client base was rapidly growing, and I assisted with all aspects of communications from content strategy and press releases to event marketing and online brochures. A typical day involved working on integrated communications campaigns for clients including Olsen Gallery, Rob Mills Architecture, Fender Katsalidis, Cedar Woods, ICON Developments and Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival (VAMFF). I also prepared award submissions for national property funds, wrote pre-and post-event coverage for Collectivity Talks, and interviewed clients to develop tailored strategies for digital marketing activities and social media advertising. In addition, I ghostwrote content for national broadsheets including the Australian Financial Review and authored articles of my own for RUSSH Magazine.
In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, I continued to provide freelance consultancy services to Communications Collective. I developed email communications for a diverse range of clients responding to the crisis from a business perspective and helped the team plan and execute a social media driven campaign to bring together Australia’s small business owners and encourage people to support them. Community-19 is an online directory dedicated to the industries and businesses impacted by COVID-19 that encourages Australians to tackle these challenging times together as a community.
I also developed sophisticated and innovative campaigns for Australian businesses including Schiavello Group, Yarra One and Cedar Woods.
Please note, some of the content I’ve created for Communications Collective may not yet be live or fall under a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
